Ron Whitmore and the High Altitude Band
For over fifteen years I’ve played keyboard for the High Altitude Band along with my band mates — John T. Morris on Lead Guitar, Pete Ortega on Bass and Wayne Bruster on Drums. We’ve been rocking it out in nightclubs around town including Cities of Gold, Cowgirl, Second Street Brewery and many other local joints for a while. Recently we’ve begun opening up our horizons and playing more special events, the Santa Fe bandstand, weddings and private parties. We played for the International Pastel Society in Albuquerque and it was a blast. Our repertoire includes original music as well as rock, country, and Spanish style. Hire us for your next event! Sticks and Stones - Anthology of a Mended Heart
My recording Sticks and Stones - Anthology of a Mended Heart (below) became a reality after playing this collection of songs at Bill Worrell's music festival down in Mason, Texas. Bill was clear-as-can-be as he told me I should record the album in the exact same order he'd heard these songs at his festival. Heart-healing for anyone who's ever lost a love, it helps in the realization that love is never really lost because it's the only thing that can never really leave you. Sticks and Stones - Anthology of a Mended Heart just might help you open your heart and find love within, where it always was and always will be. Creating this album brought me through and taught me that we only need to look within to find what we believe lost.
